5.       NZ Spring Team Manager.  Two nominations received – Charlie Greenem and Tracey Field.  Charlie withdrew his nomination.

MOVED that the Team Manager for NZ Spring be Tracey Field.

Geoff Bilton/Dianne Farmer

CARRIED

6.       Handbook.  Everyone was requested to carefully check the qualifying times as there were a lot of changes to these.  Discussion regarding putting a note in the handbook with regards to getting any changes to National Fixture entries into Selectors no later than 3 days out from the close-off of entries at SNZ.  Wording of this was agreed to.

7.       Dianne advised that she is yet to receive one completed SNZ Registration Form from clubs.  This is of concern as these forms are due to be sent with payment cheque to SNZ on 15th of this month.  Linda to take a copy of all forms received for the Centre Registrar to keep on file.

8.       Dianne advised that there is a glitch in team manager with unattached Swimmers.  Clubs when entering unattached swimmers into a carnival need to notify the host club who they are so that club can make the necessary changes.

9.       SNZ AGM Papers.  Remits, nominations and general business items discussed.  Agreed that as there were only three remits and four general business items, Linda to email Central Regions to suggest that as Wellington are the only region to date to advise that they will be in attendance, the meeting should therefore be cancelled.  Any objections to the cancellation of the meeting by regions to be emailed within 24 hours of receipt of message.

There being no further business the meeting was declared closed 8.50pm.

Notes:

Due to a filing error Cameron's records were not submitted for ratification in the correct time frame. They were however submitted to the records officer in good time.

Cameron's times were notable as both of them smashed Mathew Wolf times of 1998 and for those who do not know Mathew Wolf he went on to represent NZ in age group long distance swimming.

Jenna's 50m and 100m Butterfly times are the fastest any Manawatu Female Age grouper has ever swum according to the Manawatu records data base i.e. there are no records for anything as fast.

The Open records in the 50m and 100m by Anita Coy still stands.
